About KmerTrash

We're on a mission to make Douala cleaner, one pickup at a time.

Our Story

KmerTrash was born from a simple observation: Douala, Cameroon's economic capital, deserved a better waste collection system. Streets were littered, illegal dumping was rampant, and households had no reliable way to schedule pickups.

We saw an opportunity to bridge the gap between households who needed waste collection and independent collectors looking for steady work. By leveraging mobile technology, we created a platform that makes waste collection as easy as ordering a ride.

Today, KmerTrash serves thousands of households and hundreds of collectors across Douala, processing tens of thousands of pickups. But we're just getting started.
